The American aerospace company SpaceX successfully launched 28 Starlink satellites into space on July 30.

According to a report from Space.com, the Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from a Florida launch pad at 06:37 Kyiv time, carrying the satellites into orbit. The first stage of the rocket made a successful landing on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean a few minutes after launch. The second stage continued on its path to the designated orbit. Currently, there are over 8,050 active Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit, out of more than 9,300 launched since 2018. This launch marked SpaceX's 96th mission of the year, with nearly all (except for three) having been conducted using Falcon 9 rockets.

Additionally, the company plans to carry out two more launches this week: another Starlink mission from California and the 'Crew-11' mission with astronauts to the International Space Station from Florida.
