The wife of a former MP who fled to Russia is on trial for treason. She established an IT company in Moscow that has been developing software for Russian military and intelligence since 2014.

This was reported by the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Investigations revealed that the spouse of the former Ukrainian MP, who left for Russia in 2014, founded a company in Moscow focused on IT technologies. This company was involved in creating software for entities affiliated with the Russian government, the Ministry of Defense, and intelligence services. In 2023, software for military helicopters such as the Mi-26, Mi-35M, Mi-28N “Night Hunter,” and Ka-52 “Alligator” was implemented on behalf of the company, which are used in the armed aggression against Ukraine.

Prosecutors have imposed a freeze on the accused's real estate. Currently, elite residential property and land in Odesa have been handed over to the management of ARMA. The accused is on the run and will be tried in absentia.
