On April 17, 2025, a regional event titled «Innovative Odesa: People - Education - Business - Governance» took place in Odesa, gathering representatives from local authorities, business, education, and international organizations.

The main goal of the forum was to discuss ways to create an innovative ecosystem for human development, education, business, and effective governance in today’s conditions.

Participants were welcomed by the secretary of the Odesa City Council, Ihor Koval.

The forum demonstrated that Ukrainian businesses require modern and practical education for both youth and those looking to reskill.

Meeting attendees discussed the importance of short training programs, developing entrepreneurial skills, dual education, and closer collaboration between business and educational institutions.

Sustainable development is only possible through ongoing dialogue and cooperation between business, educational establishments, and local authorities.

Such partnerships not only allow for adapting education to the needs of the economy but also investing in human
capital — preserving and developing talents, creating joint initiatives, and fostering an effective ecosystem for growth.
