From October 7 to 14, 2024, the students of Odesa Youth Center ‘Promin’ participated in the 10th International two-round arts festival-competition Golden Island of Talents, held in Bodrum, Turkey.
Competitors showcased their talents in various categories: vocal arts, folk, ballroom, and contemporary dances, artistic reading, visual arts, and more.
The dance group ‘Mriya’ presented two solo performances and a group dance ‘Jazz’ at the competition.
According to the jury's results, the solo performance ‘Another Love’ by Oleksandra Balakireva took first place, while the solo piece Girls by Samira Iskenderova and the group dance ‘Jazz’ received the Grand Prix of the festival-competition.
The event was organized by the Society ‘Festival Ukraine’ and the NGO ‘Ukrainian Family’ with the support of the Consulate of Ukraine in Antalya and the municipality of Bodrum, Turkey.
